Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation:Focus on being encircled by
the love of God.
Bible verse for meditation:1 Cor 7KJV22 For he that is called in
the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he
that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.23 Ye are bought
with a price; be not ye the servants of men.24 Brethren, let every
man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
ESV22 For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a
freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a
bondservant of Christ. 23 You were bought with a price; do not
become bondservants of men. 24 So, brothers, in whatever
condition each was called, there let him remain with God.

Meditation on scripture / bible verse meditation:
Today I was on the battlefield of Fredricksburg, a Civil War of the
United States. I stood at the top of a ridge where there is an old
wooden building that still has civil war bullets lodged in it from
over 150 years ago. The scars of war are still visible. These scars
can still afflict us as humans also through tradition or culture.
As humans we think we're have more power than we do. Even the worst
that we can do cannot control the ultimate destiny of another
person. Here Paul recognizes a profound truth. Regardless of
our circumstances in this life, through Christ we have freedom of
we become His bondservants. Now as we're consider how to apply these
concepts we can consider our reliance on God, as well to use all of
our earthly power to help each other and to serve God. I think of
the battle hymn of the republic which was popular during the civil
war
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,With a
glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me.As He died to make
men holy, let us die* to make men free,While God is marching
on.Glory, glory, hallelujah!
