Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation:

As you start to relax, resist the urge to force yourself to relax. Many times this is not successful. Instead focus on living in this moment that you have right now. Notice your body. As you pay attention to your breathing you are in a place to notice the work of God in bringing your heart peace. As Moses said to the people of Israel when they were stuck between the Red Sea and the Pharaoh's armies: “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord.”

Hear this message right now. Fear ye not. Stand Still and see the Salvation of the Lord.”

Allow your breathing to expand. Allow it to slow down. As you do, you feel your body slowly unwind. Allow you breathing to go all the way down into your belly. You feel your muscles unflexing. Your shoulders start drooping . As you go throughout the rest of this meditation you will continue to notice your breathing slow and become deeper. If you notice your breathing starting to speed, notice it and allow it to become deeper. This scripture is a powerful one. In this story Jesus teaches how important it is to serve each other and specifically those who are oppressed, those who are powerless, those who most need it. Allow your heart to remain open as you commit to allow the words of God to reach the deepest part of your heart.

My show notes are normally much more descriptive.

Bible verse for meditation:

This scripture is in the gospel of Matthew 25:34-40

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Meditation on scripture / bible verse meditation:

Meditation of Prayer:

Pray as directed by the Spirit.

Pray now regarding the beatitude that is resonating with you.

Meditation of God and His Glory / Hesychasm:

I invite you to sit in silence and wait on the Lord.

Meditate and Visualize Positive Change in Your Life:

What insights did you gain during these moments?

What thing will change in your life after this moment?

Use you imagination to fully visualize what that change will look at. Image one very concrete change you will make in your life. What new action will you take. Visualize yourself now doing this new action.  Make it as vivid as possible with as much detail.

Visualize blessing someone else:

Now visualize someone or a group of people who need this message. Imagine what their face would look like as they receive this scripture in their hearts. Imagine how you can share it with them.

Conclusion:

Print and use this scripture.

I release a new episode of this every Sunday morning at 1AM Mountain time in the US.
